  1. Thank you for trying out LIFE 3000 version 1.01.
  2.  
  3. This version fixes bugs that prevented Procreate and One Cycle from 
  4. working in Windows 3.1
  5.  
  6. Also fixed frame redraw bug.  Now only area's that need to be painted are repainted.
  7.  
  8. Other minor bugs fixed.  in order to fix a stack problem the maximum world size
  9. was decreased to 75.
  10.  
  11. Current know "bugs" in program are:
  12.  
  13. 1.  Undo after changing World size can cause LIFE 3000 to process 
  14.     life generations incorrectly.
  15.  
  16. 2.  The complete pattern tests can not detect all repeating patterns.  
  17.     This is somewhat a design decision on how much processing to do
  18.     each life generation to detect a repeating pattern.
  19.  
  20. 3.  Complete pattern tests sometimes take the maximum repeat test 
  21.     generations to detect a simple two generation repeating pattern.
  22.     This is a bug.

  24. 4.  Large world processing at fast speeds processes to fast for LIFE 3000
  25.     menus to drop down.  This is because, as a learning process, I did
  26.     a "callback" to the timer function.  This has been improved in version 1.01.
  27.     This will be completed fixed in future versions.
